The Kaberlines have eight children all living in Topeka; five sons, George, John, Edward, William and Richard, and three daughters, Mrs. Paul Jacobs, Mrs. Charles Porubsky, and Mrs. Bill Vinning. Kaberline, 83, who died Monday at home, 529 Sardou. He was born March 18, 1893 at Pfeifer, Russia, and lived in Topeka 77 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was employed by Santa Fe Railway 50 years and was a boilermaker before he retired Aug. 1, 1958. He was married to the former Catherine Burghart. She survives. Other survivors include five sons, George Kaberline, 1145 Kellam, John Kaberline, 224 E. Lyman Road, Edward Kaberline, 2727 Maryland, William Kaberline, 1030 Poplar, and Richard Kaberline, 626 Emmett; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Jacobs, 1109 High, Mrs. Lydia Porubsky, 302 W. Gordon, and Mrs. Patricia Vininng, 551 E. Gordon; 32 grand- children and 18 great-grandchildren. He will lie in state at Brennan Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
