Mr. Koch was born Sept. 11, 1913, at Clyde and had lived at Auburn since 1951, moving from the Clifton and Clyde area. He was a dairy farmer and a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 8411, the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus James W. Gibbons Assembly, the Glory to God Prayer Group, all of Topeka; the Mid America Dairy Association; and the co-ops at Pauline, St. Mary's and Clifton. He also was a 4-H leader. Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the home; a son, Charles of Auburn; three daughters, Mary Koch of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Helen Ann Davis of Nicoma Park, Okla., and Linda Marie Wayne of Shawnee; four brothers, Lawrence, Herman and Anthony, all of Clyde, and Aloysius of Salina; five sisters, Sister Herman Joseph Koch of Kansas City, Kan., Sister Marguarit Koch of Leavenworth, Florence Fischer of Seattle, Rose Brownell of Holton and Cecelia Deneault of Clyde; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Christ the King Catholic Church, Topeka. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Topeka. A Knights of Columbus Council 8411 rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today, followed by a parish rosary at 7 p.m., a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus rosary and chalice ceremony at 7:30 p.m. and a Glory to God prayer service at 8 p.m. today at the Brennan's Funeral Home, Topeka. Memorials may be made to Christ the King House or Christ the King School Building Fund. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
