Silvara of Webb Cit and Tuesday afternoon at the Advent Christian Church in Villisca. The sermon was by Rev. E. T. Bodwell and the singing was by Mrs. Frances Gray, accompanied by the Rev. Mr. Bodwell. Silvara of Webb Cit and Tuesday afternoon at the Advent Christian Church in Villisca. The sermon was by Rev. E. T. Bodwell and the singing was by Mrs. Frances Gray, accompanied by the Rev. Mr. Bodwell. Flower bearers were Mrs. Roy Cox and Mrs. James Dunn and pall bearers were Lloyd Young, Harold Young, Ronald Silvara, James Watt, John Watt, and henry Swank and interment was in Villisca Cemetery. Wolfe Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Watt was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rowland W. Watt of Villisca. She was born February 10, 1885, and died at her home near Webb City, Friday night, August 28, at the age of 68 years after illness of two years. She was the oldest of a family of 13 children and an early age began to teach school, teaching four years. At Southwestern Normal School, Shenandoah, she met Perry Silvara and their friendship culminated in their marriage in Villisca, September 1, 1908. They returned to Central College, Pella, Iowa, where both were in school and where she was graduated from the theological department in 1909. In 1910, after her husband’s graduation from the college, she went with I’m in his ministerial work which took them to Westchester and Marion, Iowa, two churches in Kansas City, Peru, Grand Island, Hastings, and Arnold, Nebraska, Fort Worth, Texas, Boonevillle and Webb City, Missouri in Baptist Churches. When a small girl she was a member of the Loyal Temperance Legion of the W.C.T.U., held a life membership and served two years as the county president at Webb City. She was active and faithful in her church until failing health interfered. She reared a family of five children, who with her husband survive. They are three sons, Lowell Judson, and Raymond Arnold, Independence, Missouri, and Melvin Watt, Auburn, California; two daughters, Mrs. F. E. Birkes, Montezuma, Kansas and Mrs. James Hausmen, Parson, Kansas, six sisters, Mrs. Walter Young, Prescott, Iowa, Mrs. J. F. Prather, Mrs. A. W. Hadley, Mrs. C. A. Penwell, and mrs. H. L. Peters, Villisca, and Mrs. Harvey Swank, Keithsburg, Illinois, four brothers, Lawrence B. Watt, Grinnell, Iowa, Raymond D. Watt, Washington D. c. ,Orville Watt, Moline, Illinois, and Everett M.
