Description	:	Billings, Mont. - Red Austin, 68, of Billings passed away Tuesday, June 6, of lung cancer. Red was born in Leola, S.D., to Lawrence & Florence Austin. The Austins moved to Billings when Red was a young teenage man. He started working his first job at the sugar beet factory on State Ave., moving on to being a heavy equipment operator throughout his life. Read More	Billings, Mont. - Red Austin, 68, of Billings passed away Tuesday, June 6, of lung cancer. Red was born in Leola, S.D., to Lawrence & Florence Austin. The Austins moved to Billings when Red was a young teenage man. He started working his first job at the sugar beet factory on State Ave., moving on to being a heavy equipment operator throughout his life. Coming from a musically talented family, Red bought his first guitar at 15. Around 1960, he bought his first Fender Base Guitar. Red played with several bands over the years, then formed his own band with his brother, Arlon, named The Austin Brothers Trio. Red played with numerous fellow musicians throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Charlotte; brothers, Leslie and Robert "Bob," and is survived by his children, Devin Austin, Bonnie Austin, Desiree (Austin) Grady, Lora, Aaron, Tina, Loren, Justin, Danielle; and six grandchildren; brothers Melvin (Gail), Arlon (Victoria); sisters Veronica, Geraldine (Sandford), and Rose Ann (Al). Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral.
