Description	:	Mary D. Minor, age 76, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away January 23, 2009 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Neb. Mary was born April 10, 1932 in Palmyra, Nebraska to the late John and Margaret (Dalton) Donovan. Mary married Howard Minor in 1952 and to this union seven children were born. She graduated from Palmyra, Nebraska High School in 1950 and attended College of St. Mary in Omaha. She retired from the Union Pacific Railroad as a timekeeper in 1990. Mary is survived by daughters, Mary Pat Wearne and husband Jim, Peggy Gibler and husband Tim, all of Council Bluffs, Jean Witte and husband Ted, of Rosemont, Minn.; sons, Tom Minor and wife Jackie, of Thornton, Colo., Bill Minor and wife Lori, of Kalona, Iowa, Jamie Minor and wife Paige, of Council Bluffs, John Minor and wife Lynda, of Urbana, Ill.; 12 grandchildren, 5 great granddaughters; brother, Mick Donovan and wife Jacki, of Palmyra, Neb.; nieces and nephews. Wake service, Monday, 7:00 p.m. followed by visitation with the family until 9:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. A lunch will follow at Queen of Apostles Social Hall.
