"Funeral for Mrs. Nancy N. Atkins, 68, who died at her home near Bean Station Thursday, was held Saturday from Briar Fork Church. Burial in Dalton cemetery.

Surviving are, daughters, Mrs. Essie Collins, Mrs. Lula Lock and Misses Bessie Atkins and Mary Atkins of Bean Station; son, J. C. Broome, Hendersonville, N.C., and a sister, Mrs. John Hazelwood, Bean Station."

Daughter of John Broome and Carolyn Hazelwood. Married Andrew Atkins, 1902.
