Olinger, 77, who died unexpectedly at her home, 8OO S. 4th Street, Saturday evening, were held at Ward's funeral home Thursday afternoon. The Rev. Warner M. Jacobson, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Harry Mason, sang "It is Well With My Soul" and "Nearer to the Heart of God." Members of the Tina Rebeka Lodge and of Park Chapter No.35, Order of Eastern Star, attended in groups. The latter conducted the O.E.S. ritualistic service at the funeral home. Several memorial gifts were received. Relatives from out of town attending the service included Messrs. and Mmes. H.B. Brown, John Brown, I.S. Elliott and H.M. Severson, Cambridge; Messrs. and Mmes. A.P. Brown and Harold McBride, Mrs. Anna Johnson and George Marsh, Nevada; H.C. Olinger Messrs. and Mmes. Marion Olinger and Wayne Olinger, and William Frisbie, Ames; Miss Kathryn Olinger, Grand Island, Nebr.; Mrs. Laura Callen, Maywood, Ill, ; Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Bridges and sons, Dows; Mr. and Mrs.Robert Caven, Amboy, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Couch, Des Moines. Obituary: Clear Lake Mirror Reporter Funeral service for Mrs. A.M. Olinger, 77, whose body was found at the residence 800 S. 4th Steet, Tuesday mornig by her daughter, Mrs. J.M. Marsh, will be held at Ward's Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The Rev. Warner M. Hubbard, Methodist pastor, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Mrs. Marsh visited her mother Saturday morning. From appearances it is believed Mrs. Olinger went to the basement Saturday evening to attend the furnace and was stricken as she sat in a chair there. Mrs. Olinger was born Nellie Brown, daughter of Peter and Kathryn Brown, Jan. 18, 1872, in Story County. She grew up there and was married to Mr. Olinger Feb. 19, 1890. They moved to Clear Lake in 1919 and Mr. Olinger died here May 12, 1948. Mrs. Olinger is survived by 2 daughters and 2 sons as mentioed Tuesday; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Laura Callen, Chicago; and 3 brothers, H.B. Brown, Cambridge, Iowa, and A.J. and L.F. Brown, Portland Ore. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 sisters and a brother. Mrs. Olinger was a member of Park Chapter No. 35, Order of Eastern Star, which she served many years as treasurer; Tina Rebekah Lodge, Daughters of Union Veterans, being a guide in the tent at the time of her death, and the United Brethren Church at Nevada.
