Obituary -- Nora Ott Nora Rogers, third child of Isaac and Mary Ann Rogers, born near Anderson, Indiana April 18, 1869, came at age of thirteen to Kansas with her parents, who settled near Glasco. She grew up in this community. July 15, 1891 she was married to Ed Ott and they lived in the neighborhood north of town until 1907. At this time she and the family moved away, finally settling in 1909 at Gypsum in Saline county, Kansas, where they lived until August, 1927, when they moved back into the neighborhood northeast of Glasco, where they have since then made their home. Her active lifetime was spent mostly in caring for her home and family, her chief interests. The last fifteen years of her life she has been confined to her bed and in invalid's chair until her death November 10, 1953, at the age of eighty-four years, six months and twenty-three days. The husband, Ed Ott, and the one child of this marriage, a son, Lawrence, survive her. Of her own family four brothers and three sisters have preceded her in death. Two brothers survive, Oren Rogers, Sr., of Glasco, and Charles Rogers, Glendale, California.
