Mr. Miller was a member of Catholic Church of the Assumption, the Santa Fe Old Timers Club and a past member of Knights of Columbus. He married Lucille E. Younger Nov. 19, 1941 in Catherine. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, David Miller and Kevin Miller, both of Topeka; 2 daughters, Andrea Burgett and Mary Mulligan, both of Topeka; five brothers, Marcell Miller, Norton, Edgar Miller and Gilbert Miller, both of Victoria, Eugene Miller, Bartley, Neb., and Bob Miller, Wichita; six sisters, Irene Bittel and Rita Bieker, both of Hays, Louise Hammerschmidt and Cyrilla Dinkel, both of Victoria, Leona Smith, San Jose, Calif., and Mary Hayes, Herington; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon at Catholic Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Miller will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Brennan Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 6pm Monday.
