Obituary William Samuel Dirrim passed away at his home south east of town about 9 o'clock Monday morning after a short illness. Mr. Dirrim was born March 19, 1844, in Wayne County, Ohio, and came with his parents to the farm where he died, that same fall. The trip was made in a covered wagon and the family located on the farm where Mr. Dirrim has spent his entire life with the exception of the year 1871 which he spent in Nebraska. He was the son of Wm. H. and Christiana Dirrim and would have been 91 years of age had he lived until March 19th. Mr. Dirrim was one of the pioneers of the county and his long life here has made him a host of friends who will extend their sympathy to the family at this time. He leaves the widow and one son, Otis, one son dieing in infancy. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home with burial in the Hamilton Cemetery.
