Thursday, May 12, 1938 Allen Goodwin, aged 80, life long resident of the county, was buried at Lebanon Cemetery on Tuesday after services by Rev. J. T. Barker of Friendship. Mr. Goodwin is survived by two sons, Allen and Wesley, and a daughter, Mrs. J. G. Gilliland of the Lebanon community, and two brothers, Andy Goodwin, Manchester, Tenn., and Ike Goodwin, Blytheville, Ark. He was a highly esteemed citizen and had lived a long and useful life. |
