Description	:	Mrs. Claude Jacobs, 75, died at her home in Hayesville, Thursday, January 19,, at 7 p.m. after a lingering illness. The former Almyra Ann Reynolds was born September 7, 1881 near Lancaster, the daughter of Wyllie And Laura Banning Reynolds. She was married November 16, 1899 to Mr. Jacobs who survives. They farmed near Hayesville and lived for a time in Sigourney before retiring in Hayesville. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank Bensmiller of Sigourney, Mrs. Kenneth Coble of What Cheer and Mrs. Sherman Van Orsdall of Hedrick. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank Bensmiller of Sigourney, Mrs. Kenneth Coble of What Cheer and Mrs. Sherman Van Orsdall of Hedrick. There are five sons, Calvin and Robert Jacobs of Sigourney, Carroll and William of Hayesville and Eugene of Hedrick. There are 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Charles Bales of Sigourney also survives; and two brothers, Lloyd of Hayesville and Earl Reynolds of Lancaster. There are three half-brothers, Clayton Reynolds of Cedar Rapids, Ben of Sunnyside, Washington and Houston of Sigourney. Four brothers, A. J., Clem, Arthur S., and Clarence preceded her in death. The funeral service was held at the Reynolds Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. W. H. Cross of the St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church was in charge. Burial was made at the Pennington cemetery.
