OBITUARY: Anton, Musil, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Musil was born Sept. 22. 1873 in Rovecin, Czechoslovakia and came to America with his parents and his brothers the following year, June 13. 1874 and lived with an uncle for sometime about four miles northwest of Cleburne, after which his father homesteaded the last 80 acres in Riley County, where they lived for several years. After that his father bought 160 acres of land which Anton had for his home the rest of his life except the last seven years during which he has lived in Cottage Hill Community. His age was 64 years, 7 months and 8 days. He was married to Mary Kratochvil, February 4. 1896 and to this union seven children were born, two of whom died in infancy. Richard passed away Oct 14. 1933. The children who survive are Mrs. Alice Pishney,Cleburne; Otto Musil of Irving; Mrs. Rose Johnson, San Francisco, Calif.:and Mrs. Lillian Schuchart of Barnes, Kansas. There are also six grandchildren. Mr. Musil also leaves two brothers, Frank Musil of Clarkson, Nebr. and J.M. Musil of Cleburne. Anton Musil was known for his clean character, his honesty and truthfulness. People could always count on his word and he was always very thoughtful of others people and their pleasure was his highest ambition. Cottage Hill people will greatly miss his pleasant and cooperative attitude in every community enterprise.
