OBITUARY: Mary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kratochvil, born February 2, 1879, southwest of Cleburne, Kansas and died March 26, 1958 at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 24 days. She was married to Anton Musil February 4, 1896. To this union were born seven children of whom, two passed away in infancy and one, Richard, passed away at the age of 27, on October 14. 1933. Mr. and Mrs. Musil lived on a farm nine miles southeast of Waterville until about 1929 when they moved to their home in Cottage Hill where Mrs. Musil lived until her death. At the time of her marriage she joined the Czech Presbyterian Church, where she remained a member until 1954 when she transfered her membership to the Waterville Methodist Church. Mrs. Musil had been for many years an active member of the Cottage Hill Ladies Aid. Mrs. Musil leaves four children, Otto Musil and Mrs Lillie Schuchart of Wterville, Mrs. Alice Pishney of Cleburne; and Mrs. Rose Johnsoin of San Francisco, Calif. Two brothers George Kratochvil of Cleburne and Anton Kratochvil of Blue Rapids, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Lakin odf Morganville. There are nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, a number of other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Youngberg Funeral Home in Waterville. Services were conducted in the Waterville Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday March 29 ith Rev. Omar W. Stanton, Pastor, officiating. Mrs. C.L Youngberg and Merle Reitzel sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "No Night There". Three nephews of the deceased, LeRoy Kratochvil, Emery Sweet and Milo Kratochvil, and three grandchildren, Galyn Musil, John L. Schuchart and Orlin Musil acted as pallbearers. Interment was in Cottage Hill Cemetery.
