The funeral services were held from the home at 2:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. A.L. Golden and attended by many sorrowing relatives and friends. The Marion Street M.E. church choir, accompanied by Miss Jessie Templin, sang “Some Sweet Morn,” “Jesus Lover of My Soul” and “Rock of Ages. Six grand sons, Cecil, Niles, Robert, Wiley, Ray and Walter Bricker, were the pall bearers, having acted in the same capacity at the funeral of their grand father a year ago. The remains were tenderly laid to rest beside her husband in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
