They will live on a farm about four miles north of town where they will be at home to their many friends. - Chester Herald. ========================== Chester Herald (Chester, NE), Thursday, February 12, 1931; pg. 1 OBITUARY Denelda Edith Larkins Denelda Edith Larkins was born in Republic county (sic), Kansas Dec. 29, 1902. She grew to womanhood in the vicinity of Chester where she spent her life. At about 15 years of age she obeyed the gospel of Christ. February 5, 1920 she was married to Irvine Rieke and to them were born four children, Willard, Velma, Lorin and Dona Jean. She was called from this life Feb. 9, 1931 being about 29 years of age. There remain her husband and four children, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Dan Larkins, two brothers Ray and Lloyd, and one sister Mrs. Zelda Mosier. A brother died in infancy. Mrs. Rieke was a good woman. "She hath done what she could." ===================== The Hebron Journal-Register (Hebron, NE), Thursday, February 12, 1931; pg. 5 CHESTER NEWS Mrs. Irvin (sic) Rieke passed away at her home, Monday, February 9, he (sic) leaves her husband and four small children, the youngest a babe a week old. Her parents and four brothers and one sister also survive.
