Description	:	Edna Moberg The funeral for Edna L. Moberg, 91, of Placentia, Calif., formerly of rural Craig and Fremont, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elim Lutheran Church at Hooper. She died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, in Placentia, Calif. Edna French was born July 31, 1911, in Kennard. She attended school in Kennard and then at Midland College in Fremont. She was employed in Omaha, before she married Herbert Moberg March 14, 1934. They farmed south of Craig for many years. Edna French was born July 31, 1911, in Kennard. She attended school in Kennard and then at Midland College in Fremont. She was employed in Omaha, before she married Herbert Moberg March 14, 1934. They farmed south of Craig for many years. She was employed at the Farmer's Co-op in Craig, a greenhouse and dress shop in Tekamah. She retired to Hooper in 1997, and later moved to assisted living in Fremont. She lived in Omaha for a short time before moving to California in 2001. She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church in Swaburg. She was active in the Eastern Star, being a past Worthy Matron of OES Chapter 157. Survivors include: a son, Ronald (and wife, Lois) Moberg of Yorba Linda, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Karen Moberg of Glendale, Ariz.; a sister, Norma Juul of Blair; a sister-in-law, Betty French of Omaha; two brothers-in-law, Harry Kahnk and Carl (and wife, Irma) Moberg all of Fremont; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a brother and two sisters. The Rev. Robert Larson will officiate Tuesday's service. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Monday at Hamel-Peck-Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the Swaburg Cemetery in rural Hooper.
