Edwin, the eight year old son of Mrs. Selma Sjoqvist, living north of town, died Wednesday morning about 10:00 a.m. of health complications. The little lad had not been well for the past month and recently contracted pneumonia. Edwin Sigmund Herbert Sjoqvist was born on May 6, 1907 on his parents homestead in Grover Township (Renville County, ND). He departed this earthly life at the same place on April 22, 1915. Our dear Edwin is survived by his mother, and brothers Herman, John and Erick and sisters Esther, Ingeborg and Ruth. His little body was taken to the McKinney Cemetery and laid to rest near this beloved father, Johan Sjoqvist who died October 3, 1911. The entire community extends heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Sjoqvist and her children.
