Description	:	Jacob Painter, junior, was seventh child of Mary (née Hunt) and Jacob Painter, senior. He was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, where his family had settled in 1802. Jacob, junior, is said to have been the first white child born in what is now Perry Township. Jacob Painter and Nancy Ann Headley were married in the 1820s. (No marriage record found.) One son died there in 1860; the other in 1864, and Jacob and Nancy Painter afterwards returned to Columbiana County, Ohio. Jacob Painter's will was made out in 1867 in Columbiana County. Possibly reinterred in either Grandview Cemetery or Hope Cemetery.
