Description	:	Susannah Painter, ninth child of Mary (née Hunt) and Jacob Painter, was born 24 October 1809 on the family's farm near Salem, Columbiana County, Ohio. She was named after her paternal grandmother (who had moved to Salem after her husband had passed away). "Susanna" Painter and Joshua Holloway were married on 1 March 1838 in Columbiana County. Joshua, the son Sarah (née Painter) and Jesse Holloway, was Susannah's first cousin. The couple had one child, son Dayton, known to have lived to maturity. Possibly reinterred in either Grandview Cemetery or Hope Cemetery.
