Read More	Find A Grave contributor 46848597 provided the following: Her full name was Jessie Evelyn (Drake) Boop, she was born January 5, 1873 in Carroll Co., Ohio, and died April 22, 1949 in Harlem Springs, Carroll Co., Ohio. This was recorded in the Carroll Republican, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, July 18, 1895. Roy Boop, one of our best young men, was married last Thursday to Jessie Drake, at her father's house. They will live in the village and Jessie will make a lovely house woman. Her obituary in the Free Press Standard, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, August 28, 1949. Mrs. Jessie E. George, of Harlem Springs died of complications Friday at 5:30 a.m. at her home following an illness of five years. A native of Carroll County, Mrs. George had resided in the county for 76 years and was a member of the Harlem Springs Methodist Church. She was married in 1895 to Joseph Boop who preceded her in death in 1922. She later married William E. George who died in 1933. She is survived by a son, Raymond Boop of Cleveland; two daughters, Iola Boop of the home and Mrs. Clifford Hinton of East Rochester, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Ray of Carrollton; three brothers, Thomas and Howard Drake of Harlem Springs and Claremont Drake of canton, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A brother, John M. Drake, preceded her in death. Private services were held in the home Monday with Rev. Walter Stanley of the Harlem Springs Methodist Church in charge. Burial was in the Harlem Springs Cemetery. Information researched by Richard Paul Culler of Carrollton, Ohio.
