Jim retired from TRW; he enjoyed farming and gardening with his family and he loved his grandchildren deeply. He loved spending time with them and teaching them how to grow a garden. He enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors as well. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Alma "Cookie" Cope; son, Dewayne Cope; parents, Homer and Nina Cope; sister, Norma Smith; and brother, Casey Cope.
