Harsh on North Lisbon Street. Mrs. Long was born October 30, 1857 in Harrison County, a daughter of William and Isabelle (Miller) Manbeck. She was married to Mr. Long October 30, 1884, and for 54 years they had been residents of Lee Twp. before moving here about one year ago. ... Mrs. Maria Catherine Long, 81, wife of William Henry Long, former Lee Twp. resident, died Wednesday afternoon, March 15, at 1:40 in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Harsh on North Lisbon Street. Mrs. Long was born October 30, 1857 in Harrison County, a daughter of William and Isabelle (Miller) Manbeck. She was married to Mr. Long October 30, 1884, and for 54 years they had been residents of Lee Twp. before moving here about one year ago. Mrs. Long had been in ill health for nearly a year. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Harsh, at whose home she died; two sisters, Mrs. M. D. Boor of Conotton and Mrs. Reid Arbaugh of Jewett; two brothers, Austin Manbeck of Jewett and Jacob Manbeck of Carrollton; one granddaughter, Mrs. C. E. Spore of Minerva and two great-grandsons. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 in the Harsh home, followed by services at 2:30 in the Kilgore Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Earl Stainbrook will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Arbaugh Funeral Home in charge.
