Mrs. Martha (Crim) Brown, 86, a life resident of Carroll County, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 29, at the home of her son, Lee J. Brown, following an illness of five weeks. Born in Loudon Township, she was the widow of William H. Brown, who died January 1, 1941. She was a member of Harlem Springs Methodist Church and the WSCS. In addition to her son, she is survived by two brothers, George Crim of Bergholz, and Fred Crim of Carrollton; a half-sister, Miss Ollie Stevens of Delaware, and three grandchildren. Services were Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Allmon Parlors in Carrollton with Rev. S. H. Pollock in charge. Interment was in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
