Description	:	She was preceded in death by two daughters, Zelma Shields who passed in 1940 and Ethel who died in infancy. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Leroy Bower of Bridgewater, Mrs. John Mace of Omaha, Mrs. James Gibbons of Chevy Chase, Md., and Marian of Washington, D. C.; four sons, Harold, Chester and Davis of Massena and Earl of Cumberland; a brother John Neary of New Plymouth, Idaho; a sister Mrs. T. G. Coffey of Bethesda, Md.; 27 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic church in Massena with Father Mangan reading the requiem... Coffey of Bethesda, Md.; 27 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic church in Massena with Father Mangan reading the requiem low mass. John D. Mace of Omaha and Marty Mills of Cumberland were mass servers. The hymns, "Pease Be Still" and "Ave Maria" were sang by the church choir composed of Mrs. Leo Stakey, Mrs. Gratt Dougherty, T. J. Waters and Tommy Casey accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Roy Lewis. Casket bearers were Harold, Chester and Davis Mills all of Massena, Earl Mills of Cumberland, John Mace of Omaha and Leroy Bower of Bridgewater. Honorary pallbearers were Chas. and Wray Wilson, H. E. and Chas. Marlowe, F. E. Downey, J. G. McKee, John Anstey and John Cruise. Internment was made in the Victoria township cemetery. __________________________ A Tribute To The Memory Of Mary Alberta Mills In the passing of Mary Alberta Mills, beloved wife of Fred M. Mills, this community has lost one of its most valuable citizens. For so many years, she was so well and favorably known, that it is going to be extremely difficult to grow accustomed to her being gone. She was a part and parcel in the community in which she lived, that she had become an institution.
