Slates, J.P., Mr. Daniel Ritchie with Miss Mary Jane Burrier, all of Loudon Township. Her obituary in the Carroll Journal, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, February 13, 1936. Her obituary in the Carroll Journal, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, February 13, 1936. Mrs. Mary Jane Wallace, 83, a resident of the county home for the past two and one-half years, died at noon on Friday, January 31, after an illness from heart trouble. She formerly resided in Carrollton. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Burrier of Loudon Twp. She was married to Daniel Richie and to them were born three daughters, all of whom survive: Mrs. Frank Dumbleton, Mrs. Henry Howell and Mrs. George Custer, all of near Pattersonville. After Mr. Richey's death, she was married to John Wallace, who preceded her in death. Brief funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the county home with the chaplain, Rev. B. J. Yorke in charge. Services were later held in the Kilgore Lutheran church. Burial was made in Kilgore cemetery.
