Ruby was born February 13, 1908 in Holton, KS the daughter of Roy and Ella Smith Epling. She graduated from Topeka High and attended Strickler s Business College. Ruby worked at Pelletier s Department Store for many years. She married Ernest W. Cramer April 19, 1928 at the Jayhawk Theatre in Topeka. Cramer and his wife, Barbara of Topeka; a sister, Betty Jane Schneider of Topeka; two grandchildren, Eric Cramer and Carol Cramer; two step grandchildren, Ron Creek and Ken Creek and many nieces and nephews. Ruby enjoyed playing the piano and music was an important part of her life. Funeral services will be Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. She will lie in state Thursday from noon 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:30 8:00 p.m. also at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Prairie Home Cemetery.
