Burial was at Kilgore. Mrs. Algeo was a life-long resident of Carroll County. She was a daughter of Acel and Catherine Miller and was married to George Algeo in 1875. She is survived by five sons, Homer of Carrollton; William of Kilgore; Albert of Harlem Springs; George of Minerva, and Durrell of Amsterdam and one brother, David Miller of Minerva. Her obituary in the Carroll Journal, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, September 5, 1935. Mrs. Salina (Miller) Algeo, 84, died Sunday, September 1, at the home of her son, Homer Algeo on North Lisbon Street after a long illness from infirmities of age. she was born in Union Township, May 24, 1851, the daughter of Acel and Catherine Miller. On December 7, 1875 she was united in marriage to George Algeo, who preceded her in death 20 years ago. Mrs. Algeo spent her entire life in Carroll County, living in Union and Loudon townships and Carrollton. At different times she was a member of each of the Lutheran churches in the local parish, St. John's Emmanuel's and Trinity Lutheran. Surviving are five sons, William of Kilgore, Allison of Harlem Springs, Geroge of Minerva, Homer of Carrollton and Durrell of Amsterdam; one brother, David A. Miller of minerva, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One son died at the age of three years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home with her pastor, rev. Earl Stainbrook officiating assisted by Rev. J. F. Cash. Burial was made in Kilgore Cemetery.
