Description	:	MILLER, VIOLA INEZ—Viola Inez Miller, daughter of the late Jonas and Mary E. Miller, was born at Roann, Ind., October 28, 1880. She departed this life at her home in Geneva, Thursday, April 11, 1946, at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 15 days. In 1884 the Miller family came to Nebraska, arriving in February and located in the Chelsea community, where the family home was established and continued until November 7, 1945, when the three sisters, Maude, Effa and Viola, moved to Geneva, where their residence was established. Viola accepted the challenge of the Christian way of life... Read More	MILLER, VIOLA INEZ—Viola Inez Miller, daughter of the late Jonas and Mary E. Miller, was born at Roann, Ind., October 28, 1880. She departed this life at her home in Geneva, Thursday, April 11, 1946, at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 15 days. In 1884 the Miller family came to Nebraska, arriving in February and located in the Chelsea community, where the family home was established and continued until November 7, 1945, when the three sisters, Maude, Effa and Viola, moved to Geneva, where their residence was established. Viola accepted the challenge of the Christian way of life in 1910, and united with the Chelsea church in which faith she lived and served throughout the years. Hers was a quiet, unassuming life, but one which was always felt in many helpful ways; ever seeking to do those things which were pleasing in His sight. She was first stricken with the disease, which finally took its toll, in June, 1940; and since that time she had been a partial invalid, but her spirit remained undaunted. She was ever cheerful and majored in the joy of serving in the many ways which her limited health would permit. Viola was one of twelve children of the Miller family, the father, mother, and one sister, the eldest, having preceded her in death. There remain to feel the loss of this loved one, six sisters and four brothers, many other relatives and a wide circle of friends. Funeral services were held from the United Brethren Church in Geneva April 13 and was in the charge of the pastor, Rev. Maude V. Mann. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery. Pallbearers were Fred Nunns, Robert Nunns Sr., Ed Nelson, Clair Christiancy, Charles Weiss and Layman Brooke. Card of thanks: We wish to thank all the friends and neighbors for their kindness, sympathy and beautiful flowers at the time of the death of our sister, Viola. We especially want to thank Rev. Maude Mann, Mrs. Oscar Nelson and Miss Minnie Carson for the music rendered, also for the lovely dinner served by the ladies of the church.
