Description	:	Roy H. Miller was called to his eternal home at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, Neb., December 29, 1963, at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 26 days. Roy, son of Jonas B. and Mary E. Miller, was born July 3, 1892. He had spent his entire life in Chelsea township in the Geneva community, until moving to Geneva 10 years ago. Miller was called to his eternal home at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, Neb., December 29, 1963, at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 26 days. Roy, son of Jonas B. and Mary E. Miller, was born July 3, 1892. He had spent his entire life in Chelsea township in the Geneva community, until moving to Geneva 10 years ago. In 1916 he was baptized and became a member of the Chelsea United Brethren Church, changing his membership to the Geneva Methodist Church in 1954. February 14, 1917, he was united in marriage to Ruby E. Severns. They were the parents of seven children, Charles H., Marie E. Andrews, Clair A., Irvin L., Hazel Jean Koehn and the twins, Suzann Rae Koozer and Joann Fae Jackson, all surviving except the son Clair, who gave his life in World War II. Also surviving are three sons-in-law, Reginald Koehn, Lynn Koozer, and Bill Jackson; two daughters-in-law, Mildred Miller and Charlene Miller; grandchildren, Robert Andrews, Patricia Miller, Lynda Thomas and Pamela Koehn, Sherrie, Debra, David and Diane Miller, Lana and James Jackson, Terri and Douglas Koozer, two brothers, Alvah and Wilson, and four sisters, Effa and Maude Miller, Alma Fox and Nora Heath. Funeral services were held at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home in Geneva at 1:30 p. m. Thursday, January 2. Rev. Alden B. Sears officiated. Mrs. Gerald Pickerell sang “Beyond the Sunset” and “Just a Closer Walk With Thee.” Mrs. Willard Foster was accompanist. Pallbearers were Phillip Diederich, Wayne DuBois, Harry Fox, John Nun, Richard Nunns and Edward Schmidt. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal January 16 1964 page 9.
