In 1887, they moved to Bilton with Harrogate, Yorkshire and resided there first at 17 Holmes Street and then in 1889 at 8 Nydd Vale Terrace where they lived until WILLIAM JOHN WALKER's spouse FRANCES died in 1902. He then moved to Leeds, West Yorkshire and established a home with his son LAWRENCE WALKER at 2 Alcester Place. WILLIAM JOHN WALKER remarried a FLOLENE HIGHSMITH on 4 February 1908 and they became parents of a daughter, LINDA MAY WALKER in 1911. WILLIAM JOHN WALKER remained in Leeds at 2 Alcester Place until about 1919 and then moved to the city of York where he died on at "Marygate, York" on 18 March 1932.
