Description	:	Agnes Gaughan was born on 28 Nov 1924 at St Johns Hospital in Fargo North Dakota. She was the seventh child of James Gaughan and Ellen Loretta Noonan Gaughan, from Verona North Dakota. Agnes was baptized Catherine Agnes Gaughan at St. Raphael’s Church in Verona North Dakota. Her older sister Mary, decided that she would be called Aggie in honor of their Aunt, Agnes Noonan Moher. Read More	Agnes Gaughan was born on 28 Nov 1924 at St Johns Hospital in Fargo North Dakota. She was the seventh child of James Gaughan and Ellen Loretta Noonan Gaughan, from Verona North Dakota. Agnes was baptized Catherine Agnes Gaughan at St. Raphael’s Church in Verona North Dakota. Her older sister Mary, decided that she would be called Aggie in honor of their Aunt, Agnes Noonan Moher. Even though she preferred the name Catherine, the name Agnes was well established by grade school, so Catherine became her middle name. In 1927, her family moved to Vayland, South Dakota where she attended grade school through the fourth grade. The family made another move to Watertown, South Dakota, where she attended school until her graduation in 1943. She worked various jobs in Watertown before moving to Minneapolis MN, where she worked for Northwest Airlines. In 1962, along with her parents and her sisters Lucille and Alice and 3 nephews made the Big move to Millbrae California. In 1964, they settled in San Carlos where she and her sister Lucille would care for their aging parents. Aggie worked in various travel agencies and travelled the world to Ireland, Scotland, England and France, Germany, Austria, Greece and Italy, New Zealand and Australia. Her favorite was Venice Italy. Aggie loved family and would travel the country visiting as time allowed. She was always up to a game of golf and Happy Hour at five O’clock. She was quiet and kind, intelligent, possessed a great sense of humor, proudly independent and never hesitated to stand up for herself. Her later years were spent visiting with family and friends, she loved her game shows and The Golden Girls. Alert to the end, Aggie, was the last of the James and Ellen Gaughan family and God decided to take her home to be with her family on July 12th 2020. All of the Gaughan, Noonan, Ward, Weis and Cherveny families and her friends will miss this cherished and wonderful woman.
