Charle Knox Noble, 62, of RD 1, Amsterdam, who was serving his second term as a Lee Township Trustee, died Saturday afternoon in Mercy Hospital at Canton following a four-month illness. He also served several years as a member of the Lee Township Board of Education. Mr. Noble was born January 1, 1893, a son of George and Thursa (Cogsil) Noble and was a life resident of Lee Township. He also served several years as a member of the Lee Township Board of Education. Mr. Noble was born January 1, 1893, a son of George and Thursa (Cogsil) Noble and was a life resident of Lee Township. He was a member of the Harlem Springs Methodist Church and Harlem Springs Grange. His wife, Niva (Blazer) Noble, died in 1942. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy McLean of Carrollton and Miss Doris Noble of Canton; four sons, Joe of Amsterdam, Earl and George of Minerva and Dale of Canton; five sisters, Mrs. Jennie Algeo, Mrs. Ralph Maple and Mrs. Ray Maple of Carrollton, Mrs. Lillian Guess of Canton, and Mrs. Kirk Tinlin of Harlem Springs, two brothers, Ralph of Minerva, and Harvey of Alliance, and four grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday in the Allmon Funeral Home here with Rev. S. H. Pollock officiating. Burial was in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
