Mrs. Jennie (Noble) Algeo, 88, of 246 East Main Street, Carrollton, widow of John Emmett Algeo, died Friday in Alliance City Hospital. She had been ill five weeks. Mrs. Algeo was born June 13, 1870, in Lee Twp., the daughter of the late George and Thurza (Cogsil) Noble. She had resided here 33 years and had formerly resided in Steubenville for ten years. Mrs. Algeo was a member of Carrollton Presbyterian Church. Her husband died February 16, 1948. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Mary Charlotte Algeo of the home and Mrs. Thurza Brown of Rt. 1, Mineral City; two brothers, Ralph Noble of Minerva and Harvey Noble of Alliance; four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Guess of Canton, Mrs. Kirk Tinlin of Harlem Springs, Mrs. Ralph Maple and Mrs. Ray Maple, both of Carrollton, and one grandchild. Services were Sunday at the Allmon Funeral Home here with the Rev. B. J. Yorke officiating. Burial was in Harlem Springs Cemetery. Information researched by Richard Paul Culler of Carrollton, OHio.
