Oliver Richard Noble, 77, of 75 3rd St. NE, Carrollton died on Wednesday in a Massillon Hospital after an illness of eight months. A life resident of Carroll County, Mr. Noble was a member of Harlem Springs Methodist Church. He was the son of the late George and Thursa (Cogsil) Noble. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jeanette Noble; two sons, Stanley of Syracuse, N. Y. and Grant of Berea; a daughter, Miss Elsie Noble of Cleveland; three brothers, Ralph of Minerva, Harvey of Alliance and Charles of Harlem Springs; six sisters, Mrs. Jennie Algeo, Mrs. Ralph Maple, Mrs. Ray Maple and Mrs. Connalee Knox, all of Carrollton, Mrs. Lillie Guess of Bergholz and Mrs. Mary Tinlin of Harlem Springs, and one grandchild. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Allmon Funeral Home in Carrollton. Rev. R. W. Shepherd will officiate. Burial will be in Harlem Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight.
