A Celebration of Doris' life will be held on Monday, June 1st, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Pettisville Cemetery in Pettisville, Ohio. Graveside Service Arrangements are being cared for by Short Funeral Home in Archbold, Ohio. Read More	On her 93rd birthday, May 29th, 2015, Doris L Kauffman (Kibler) of Coldwater, went to join with her late husband Kenneth Kauffman and two of their daughters, Sandra and Sharon. A Celebration of Doris' life will be held on Monday, June 1st, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Pettisville Cemetery in Pettisville, Ohio. Graveside Service Arrangements are being cared for by Short Funeral Home in Archbold, Ohio. On May 29th, 1922, the doctor made a special trip to the farm in Waldron, Michigan to bring Doris L Kibler into the world. Doris was the daughter of Ferman and Elby Kibler. She had one brother, Maurice (Dean) and two sisters, Norene and Elaine. Doris attended school in Fayette Ohio and graduated in 1940. She met the love of her life after her friend set her up on a blind date with Kenneth Kauffman. They were married on June 21st 1942. They had 3 beautiful daughters together, Sharon, Linda and Sandra. These 3 lovely women gave them 9 wonderful grandsons; which in turn gave them 17 grand children. Doris was a very kind and gentle soul. She had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. Doris will be remembered for her love of our family. She played a special role in the lives of many of her children and her grandchildren, helping and spoiling them as a grandmother would do. She loved hearing about what was taking place in their lives as they grew up. Even the youngest of her grandchildren soon enough learn to play her favorite card game of Canasta. Doris' other hobbies included buying, collecting, and repairing jewelry. Doris loved to travel and during the summer months, one could find her visiting a garage sale or flea market. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Kenneth Kauffman and her devoted daughters, Sandra Benbow and Sharon Dickman Doris leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her wonderfully close family; Daughter Linda Fazekas and her husband John; their 3 sons, Nicholas, Brent and Brian, and their children; Nicholas, Alexander, Olivia, Hailey, Kameryn, Kara, Emily, Lucy, Zach, Landon, Ellery, Sawyer. Her youngest daughter Sandra Benbow's children Eric and Todd Benbow and Erin Sharp and their children Arielle and Ali. And from her oldest daughter Sharon Dickman (Adair)'s children; Ron, Larry, Danny and Jason, and their children, Tyler, Ashley and Dillon; Ryan and his children Shandoah and Lola and a very special friend, Crystal Finney. “The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it." Charles Swindoll
