Description	:	Floyd Emerson Wilson, son of Thomas and Effie Wilson, was born in Friend, Nebr., November 12, 1900, and departed this life November 8, 1945, at the Mary Lanning hospital at Hastings, Nebr., at the age of 44 years, 11 months and 26 days. He was united in marriage to Ruby Anderson of Arapahoe, Colorado, June 4, 1930. He was baptized in the Methodist faith at an early age. He was a kind and loving husband and father. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Number 592 of Hastings, Nebr. The greater part of his life was spent near Nelson, Nebr. In November of 1944 he moved his family to Hastings where he was employed by the State Hawkinson Tread Service and continued in this employ until the time if (sic) his death. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and three children, Floydene 14, James 11 and Audrea 2 of Hastings; his father Thomas Wilson of Edgar, two brothers Wilbur and Russell of Nelson, four step sisters and one step brother, Mrs. Allie Bagley of Edgar, Mrs. Edna Fels of Seiad Valley, Calif., Mrs. Myrtle Wehrman of Nelson, Mrs. Lillie Weidenkeller of Hastings, and James Childress of Long Beach, Calif., besides a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother on September 21, 1915, and by his step mother on October 18, 1945. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church (sic) in Edgar November 11 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. S. Longacre assisted by Rev. Hull. Mrs. Ross Clem and Mrs. Glen Adamson, accompanied by Mrs. Joe Page, sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "God Will Take Care of You" and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again." The pallbearers were: Emil Klawitter, Earl Schufeldt, Warren Grossman of Nelson; Herschel Underwood, Harvard; John Stabinow, Marley McCormick, Hastings. Interment in Edgar cemetery (sic).
