Born at Harlem Springs, he was a son of the late Arthur and Nora (McCorkle) Noble. A life resident of Carroll County, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Amsterdam, Eagles Lodge at Carrollton and Tuscarawas County Coin Club. He was a self-employed auctioneer and a construction worker for Hoosier Construction. Surviving is his wife, the former Sue Babaryk, whom he married July 22, 1969; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Donna) Strawder; two sons, Gerald and David, both of Perrysville; two step-daughters, Mrs. W. C. (Rosemary) McCullers of Homestead, Florida and Mrs. Jack (Charlotte) Fairclough of Amsterdam; a sister, Mrs. Edna Mae Allen of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. A brother and sister are deceased. Services were held Tuesday in Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home, Carrollton with Rev. Dwight Devitt officiating. Burial was in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
