Nora Mae Noble, 96, of Louisville, formerly of Carrollton, died in the Carroll Healthcare Center Wednesday. Born December 30, 1892 in Amsterdam, she was a daughter of George Wesley and Samantha Jane (Brown) McCorkhill. She was a former school teacher and practical nurse in Carroll County, working for the late Dr. Murray. She was a member of the Harsh United Methodist Church in Harlem Spring and was a former member of the Harlem Springs and Stillfork Granges., where she was secretary and a member for over 50 years. Surviving are a son, Howard A. of Perrysville; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Mae Allen of Louisville; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home in Carrollton with Randy Ceterelli officiating. Burial will be in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
