James Foster White, World War I veteran, of Leesville, died at Veterans Hospital at Brecksville, Ohio, Wednesday, April 29, following a long illness. He had been a patient at the hospital for about seven weeks. The deceased was born July 11, 1895 in Lee Twp., the son of the late Robert White and Mrs. Laura (Thompson) Orwick. He was united in marriage to Mildred Manwaring, November 22, 1923. He was a member of the Harlem Springs Presbyterian Church and the Dellroy American Legion Post. He is survived by his widow, and three children, Everett O., Rhoda Mae and Clyde all of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Blazer of Washington Twp., Mrs. Myrtle Shepherd of Lee Twp., and one brother, Walter, of Lee Twp. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Blazer-Graham Funeral Home in charge of Rev. W. R. Taylor and burial will be at Harlem Springs. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight (Thursday) after 7:30 o'clock.
