Description	:	Joann peacefully entered into rest on September 15, 2016 at the age of 77. Joann was born in Lawrence, Nebraska to Anna and Joe Witrhlik. Joann was married to the love of her life, Pat, for 53 years and they settled in Bellevue Nebraska to raise their two kids and remained there for 41 years. Read More	Joann peacefully entered into rest on September 15, 2016 at the age of 77. Joann was born in Lawrence, Nebraska to Anna and Joe Witrhlik. Joann was married to the love of her life, Pat, for 53 years and they settled in Bellevue Nebraska to raise their two kids and remained there for 41 years. In October 2003, Pat and Joann moved to Folsom, California to enjoy the climate and to be near their daughter. Folsom is where Joann semi-retired and worked for 5 years at Hallmark until she finally retired at age 72. Joann also enjoyed sharing a small business with Pat and they successfully ran a TV/electronics repair store, a liquor store, and rental property in Gloeb Plaza for 30 years. Joann was the book keeper for both businesses and ran JoPat liquor store while Pat ran Town and Country TV repair shop. Joann later worked at Hallmark for 12 years in Nebraska before moving to Folsom. While living in Bellevue, Joann enjoyed being a stellar cook and the keeper of her busy home where family dinners were sacred and visitors were always warmly welcomed with a smile, a hug, and a glass of wine. Joann and Pat traveled throughout the United States initially with their two kids on summer road trips and then later together across the United States. Joann and Pat even enjoyed a cruise through the Panama Canal with their daughter, son-law, and daughter in-law (Betty). Joann especially loved to visit her son and grandchildren in Overland Park, Kansas and was even blessed enough to share a trip with her husband, children, and grandchildren to Estes Park, Colorado in 2012. Joann will be greatly missed by her loving husband; daughter Mary Beth and her husband Jerry Govier of Citrus Heights; son Scott and grandsons Michael, Sam, and Hank of Overland Park, Kansas; step-granddaughter Chanda and her husband Derek Small and step-great grandson Andrew; sister Arlene Svoboda of Lincoln, Nebraska; and numerous loving and supportive nieces and cousins. Joann is predeceased by her brother Rudolph (Rudy) Witrhlik (2012). Private family cremation internment services will be held at East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park Sacramento, California.
