Description	:	Lester R. Nafziger, age 96 years, of Archbold, passed away Saturday evening, October 19, 2013, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. He was born October 23, 1916, near Pettisville, the son of William and Ruth (Frey) Nafziger. He married Marjorie Wyse on July 11, 1939 and she preceded him in death on November 27, 2009. A resident of the Wauseon area many years, he farmed and retired from Sauder Manufacturing Co. in Archbold. He did volunteer work with Mennonite Disaster Service and enjoyed Tuesdays at the Tatter Club. He also enjoyed woodworking, and quartet singing. He was a member... Read More	Lester R. He is survived by six children, Leslie (Annemarie) Nafziger of Archbold, Suzanne (Jim) Schrock of Pettisville, Karen (Lynn) Rupp of Toledo, Thomas (Shirley) Nafziger of Bradenton, FL, Mike (Debra) Nafziger of Pettisville, and Lonnie Nafziger of Napoleon; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Glen Nafziger of Archbold; one sister, Helen Kaufmann of Princeton, IL.; and a sister-in-law Lodema Nafziger of Pettisville. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two infant daughters, Judith and Marlene; one grandson, Scott Nafziger; two brothers, Ervin Nafziger and Ivan Nafziger; three sisters, Beulah Nofziger, Vesta Miller, and Lois Nofziger. Interment will be in the Pettisville Cemetery.
