Description	:	Martha E. King, age 91 years, of Archbold, passed away Thursday morning, November 11, 2010, in her home. She was born March 1, 1919, near Archbold the daughter of Eli and Jennie (Burkholder) Lugbill, and married Maurice King on June 6, 1943. She lived in Nashville, TN, from 1969 until returning to the Archbold area in 2006. She was a homemaker and was manager of Lugbill’s Restaurant and Grocery Store, and later a bookkeeper for Lugbill’s Livestock Auction and King Enterprise in TN. She was born March 1, 1919, near Archbold the daughter of Eli and Jennie (Burkholder) Lugbill, and married Maurice King on June 6, 1943. She lived in Nashville, TN, from 1969 until returning to the Archbold area in 2006. She was a homemaker and was manager of Lugbill’s Restaurant and Grocery Store, and later a bookkeeper for Lugbill’s Livestock Auction and King Enterprise in TN. She was a charter member of the Zion Mennonite Church in Archbold, and a member of Donnelson Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN. She is survived by her husband, Maurice; four children, Linda King, of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Bonnie (Wendell) Beck of Archbold, Karen (Charles) Koellein of Franklin, TN, and William (Patty) King of Shelbyville, TN; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Myrtie Wagler of Pettisville, and Doris Britsch of Archbold. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David; and a brother Leon Lugbill. Memorial services will be held on Monday at 2 PM at the Fairlawn Chapel with Pastor Mona Sauder officiating. Interment will precede at 1 PM in the Pettisville Cemetery.
