Description	:	Martha N. Frey, age 77 years, of Pettisville, passed away Friday night, November 11, 2016, at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center. She was born March 3, 1939, at Cloverdale, the daughter of Ernest and Maye (Shank) Prowant. She married Carl E. Frey on March 22, 1958, and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2000. A resident of the Pettisville area since 1958, she was a homemaker and beautician, owning and operating Hide-A-Way Hair Designs in Pettisville for 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, playing games, music, sporting events and most of all spending time... Read More	Martha N. She is survived by four children, Tambreah (Phil) Martin of Wheatland, WY, Joan (Tracy) Wyse of Archbold, Marlin (Lori) Frey of Pettisville, and Alysa (Chris) Short of Archbold; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ellen (Richard) Frey of Wauseon, and Linda (Jim) Allen of Kalida. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son-in-law, Ken Burkholder; one brother, Carson Prowant; and a sister Evelyn Frey. A Celebration of Life Service will he held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at North Clinton Church with Pastors Jerry Grieser and Glenn Coblentz officiating. Private interment will be in the Pettisville Cemetery.
