Description	:	Mildred Arlene Lugbill, daughter of Edward and Lena(Roszhart) Stalter, was born in Flanagan, Illinois on June 26, 1924. She died early Saturday morning, September 11, 2010 at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold, Ohio. She was 86 years of age. Mildred was married to Leon Lugbill who preceded her in death on February 28, 1987. Twelve years following Leon's death, Mildred married Charles J. Kinsman in 1999. She died early Saturday morning, September 11, 2010 at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold, Ohio. She was 86 years of age. Mildred was married to Leon Lugbill who preceded her in death on February 28, 1987. Twelve years following Leon's death, Mildred married Charles J. Kinsman in 1999. He also preceded her in death on February 25, 2000. Upon graduation from Flanagan High School, Mildred attended Goshen College, Goshen, Indiana to study Elementary Education. Due to a shortage of teachers during World War II, Mildred accepted a teaching position prior to graduation. A year later she married Leon and began her lifelong passion of creating a home. Mildred was known by many for her cooking, baking, gardening, painting, writing, making crafts, hosting, and teaching. Playing the electric piano and her harmonicas brought Mildred additional joy. She was also a continual support and partner to Leon in various business ventures including the present family business, Brookview Farm. As a young woman, Mildred accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Throughout her adult years she taught children's Sunday School at the Archbold Evangelical Church, as well as hosted youth group gatherings, gave leadership to Ladies Aid, sang in various groups and choirs, and generally gave of her time, talent, and resources. She often found ways to express her creative gifts, including writing gospel songs and accompanying her sons as they performed her original tunes. Mildred is survived by three sons and their families: Jack (Barb)of Archbold, Edward (Beth )of Elkhart, IN, and Jim (Jill)of Pettisville; two brothers, Fritz and Paul (Linda)of central Illinois, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, four step-sons and one stepdaughter and their children and grandchildren. Preceding Mildred in death were spouses, Leon and Charles, two sons, one daughter-in-law, one granddaughter, two brothers, and one sister. Two of Mildred's enduring qualities were her faith and hope in God which gave her the strength and will to ultimately 'bounce back' from very difficult life circumstances and live a life of joy and gratitude. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 11AM at Archbold Evangelical Church with Pastors Jesse Kahler and Karl Black officiating. Interment will precede the service at 10 AM in the Pettisville Cemetery.
