Read More	RITES HELD WEDNESDAY FOR ROSE VESTAL Funeral services for Nancy Rosetta (Rose) Vestal, 95, Red Oak, were held Wednesday, December 26, 1973 at 2 p.m. in the Nelson Boylan Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Mrs. Vestal passed away Friday, December 21, at the Cottage Rest Home in Red Oak following an extended illness. She was born December 21, 1878 in Mills County, the daughter of Martin and Martha McFarland. She lived most of her life in the Malvern and Strahan areas prior to moving to Grant in 1938 and Red Oak in 1964. She was a member of the Grant United Methodist Church and the WSCS. Rev. Duane Churchman officiated at the services, with interment in the Malvern Cemetery. Survivors include three sons, Clifford Vestal of Clearlake; Donald H. Vestal of Council Bluffs, and Franklin C. Vestal of Red Oak; one daughter, Mrs. Arthurman Churchman of Malvern, and one sister, Mrs. Nina Crouse of Cromwell. Pall bearers were David Churchman, Lloyd Vestal, Delman Campbell, Gerald Dix, Paul Vestal, John McFarland, LeRoy Vestal, and Kenneth Meyer. Music was by Mrs. Earl Spiker, organist and a vocal Mrs. Helen Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Roberts, Mrs. Delman Campbell, and Mrs. Gerald Six were the floral committee. They are the parents of Clifford Norwood, Dorothy Lenore, Donald Herbert & Franklin Charles.
