Page 42 Nathan Johnson has been a patient in the hospital at Iowa City for the past week, having been taken there March 29 by his son, Roger and Paul Schultz. He is being treated for emphysema and for ulcerated varicose veins. Surgery may be required. April 2 was his birthday, and he spent this day in the hospital. Page 8 Mr. and Mrs. Russell Johnson and their two and a half year old son, James, arrived here by train from California last week Thursday in a surprise visit to his father, Nathan Johnson, who has been a surgical patient in an Iowa City hospital. The Nashua Johnsons had not seen their son since 1965 and had never met his wife or seen their grandson. The all-too-short visit will end when the Californians return home Wednesday of this week.
