Hoye Dies At Morgantown – Was Patient in Hospital Since March – Ill a Year OAKLAND, March 29 – Robert Lincoln Hoye, aged 56 years, Oakland, died in the City Hospital, Morgantown, West Va., last Thursday night at 11:25 o'clock following an illness of about a year. He had been residing with his daughter, Mrs. Percy Forbes, at Morgantown since December and had been taken to the hospital on Monday, March 25. He was a son of the late William and Louise Hoye and was born at Sang Run, September 17, 1883. He was a member of the Methodist church at Sang Run. Surviving are his widow, who was the former Miss Bertha Lowdermilk; four daughters and one son: Mrs. Percy Forbes and Mrs. Isabel Zinn, both of Morgantown; Mrs. Lucille Brown, Chestertown, Md; Miss Irene Hoye and Robert Hoye, at home; also, one brother and two sisters, Charles E. Hoye, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Josephine Armstrong, Oakland, and Mrs. Helen Enlow, Zion, Ill. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Methodist church in Sang Run, with Rev. Greynolds, pastor of the Friendsville charge, officiating. Interment was in the Sang Run cemetery. (Transcribed by Ronn E. Friend.
