Description	:	Virginia A. Nofziger, 85, of Lyons, Ohio, died Jan. 3 at Heartland of Wauseon, with her family present. She was born Jan. 5, 1930, near Wauseon, Ohio, the youngest child of William B. and Clara (Beck) Nofziger. She married Herbert W. Nofziger on July 25, 1948, and he survives. A resident of the Lyons area many years, she was a homemaker and helped her husband with the dairy farm. Read More	Virginia A. Nofziger, 85, of Lyons, Ohio, died Jan. 3 at Heartland of Wauseon, with her family present. She was born Jan. 5, 1930, near Wauseon, Ohio, the youngest child of William B. and Clara (Beck) Nofziger. She married Herbert W. Nofziger on July 25, 1948, and he survives. A resident of the Lyons area many years, she was a homemaker and helped her husband with the dairy farm. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time and doing things with her grandchildren, and also traveling with friends. She was active in the Wauseon FISH Program. She was a former active member of the Inlet Mennonite Church near Wauseon and was a present member of North Clinton Church of Wauseon. Virginia is survived by three children Jane (and Terry) Wyse of Wauseon, Mike (and Gwen) Nofziger of Lyons, and Matt (and Lynelle) Nofziger of Wauseon; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ada Stuckey of West Unity, Ohio, and Marjorie (and Cal) Short of Archbold; and a brother-in-law, Orval Wyse of Archbold, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Barbara Henricks; one son, Stephen Nofziger; three brothers, LaVern, Olen and Lawrence Nofziger; three sisters, Orpha Nofziger, Berneda Stuckey and Myrtie Wyse. Memorial services are planned at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the North Clinton Church, with Pastors Brad Faler and Glenn Coblentz officiating. Interment will precede the service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Pettisville Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at North Clinton Church. Memorials donations are suggested to North Clinton Church, FISH or the donor’s favorite charity.
