Description	:	Wayne Harris Wyse, 91, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home. He was born on September 22, 1919, the son of Daniel and Lorna (Neidhart) Wyse. On September 21, 1947, he married Mabel I. Riegsecker. She preceded him in death on January 25, 1997. Wayne worked at the Wyse Turkey Farm and then was a Meadow Gold milkman for over 25 years. He was born on September 22, 1919, the son of Daniel and Lorna (Neidhart) Wyse. On September 21, 1947, he married Mabel I. Riegsecker. She preceded him in death on January 25, 1997. Wayne worked at the Wyse Turkey Farm and then was a Meadow Gold milkman for over 25 years. Wayne was a faithful Detroit Tigers fan his entire life. Wayne and Mabel enjoyed bowling, playing pinochle, and attending Mud Hens and Detroit baseball games. For many years, Wayne and Mabel traveled to Florida to attend the Detroit Tigers spring training. Later in life, Wayne enjoyed playing pool with his friend Rollie Hayes and riding his scooter with his dog, Kodi. He was a member of St Martin’s Lutheran Church. He is survived by five daughters, Marva (Gene) Baus of Archbold, Marlene Kibler of Apex, NC, Elaine (John) Hammon of Napoleon, Bonnie Wyse (Steve Meyer) of Apex, NC and Cynthia Wyse of Cary, NC; nine grandchildren, Erika (Greg) Liestman, Jeanna (Sam) Reschly, Nathan (Brianne) Kibler, Amy (Peter) Tyler, Jennifer (Jeff) Heston, Joel (Kerry) Hammon, Jeremy Goertz, Christopher (Melissa) Goertz, and Kacey (Jason) Hoffman and nine great-grandchildren, Tanner, Caleb and Brant Liestman, Jenna Heston, Brock and Alex Marie Reschly, Maddie Hammon, and Henry and Maegan Goertz, and one sister, Bueta Rupp. He was preceded in death by his parents, his four brothers, Orval, Kenneth, Lester, and Marvin and one son-in-law, Rev. Paul Kibler. Wayne will be greatly missed as a father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. We take comfort in God’s promises that he waits for us in Heaven. May Jesus Christ, the great Shepherd of the sheep, keep Wayne ever in his care. Friends may call at Fairlawn Haven Chapel in Archbold from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 27, 2010. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 11:00 am at St Martin’s Lutheran Church in Archbold with Pastor Paul Reichert officiating.
